Kathy Crawford wants to serve you as Michigan’s 38th District Representative

I’m Kathy Crawford.  I have been elected and re-elected to serve you as an Oakland County Commissioner for the past 3 years.  During this time, I believe that I’ve helped western Oakland County become a better place to live and to raise a family.

I’m all about ACTION and solving problems for the taxpayers in my district. That’s why I was overwhelmingly re-elected to the Oakland County Board of Commissioners last year.

Over the years, I have demonstrated what Novi, Novi Township, Walled Lake, Northville, South Lyon and Lyon Township residents expect from a public servant: I’m a hard-working, grassroots ambassador for our growing communities.

Now, it’s time for me to take the next step by serving you in Lansing as the 38th District’s next State Representative. This is an opportunity for me to expand my knowledge and experience, so I can influence public policies, statewide, to help the local citizens who have been so loyal to me.

I am committed to assuring that our citizens will enjoy a better quality-of-life!

For those of you who don’t know, my husband is Republican Hugh Crawford who currently is your Representative in the 38th District.  Because of Michigan’s term-limit law, Hugh now is completing his third and final 2-year term, leaving the seat open in 2014.  I want to continue Hugh’s great record for public service by ensuring that everyone’s tax dollars are invested properly…in education, economic development, transportation infrastructure and health-care services.

My loyal followers know that I’m results-driven. When I see a problem, I want to get it fixed. That’s how I approach public service.  I want to bring my optimism, common sense, passion and attitude to Lansing.

We need a State Representative who has Leadership experience and core conservative values:

  • I am a fiscal conservative, and I have an outstanding track-record as a good steward of taxpayer dollars
  • I believe in economic opportunity and freedom for business development. That’s what drives job creation.
  • I support a statewide Master Plan for older active adults and senior citizens

I offer you the proven experience, conservative values, leadership and vision that can’t be matched by the other candidates vying for this important seat.  That’s why I believe I’m the best person for this job.

I ask for your support – and your vote – on November 4, 2014.  I look forward to serving you and being your voice in Lansing.
